Context: Every Thursday(ish) I play D&D online (we're actually using the SWADE system for this campaign) with some friend. The setting is entirely homebrew (both DM and players worked to create the world before playing). I play an iron being (not a robot) known as an Ironing. His name is Claden and he is a Varaq, responsible for obtaining variables, measurements, metrics, and statistics of all sorts which he will input into the "great machine," an all knowing device. These are notes from Claden's perspective while we play.
- I feel very soft
- Bashir’s new leg is not responding
- We found a dead body – it appears he was trapped under here as well
- Plume confirmed that I am feeling odd. Almost like flesh – and my eyes are growing pupils.
- An Abolyth attacks – and chews into my fleshy body
- A rogue wave crashes through a portcullis and knocks the Abolyth out.
- My wounds are bloody. I’ve been healed by my party but have normal scars. My other party members feel normal.
- We head through a thin crevice.
- We found our way into a cage in a wide open chamber.
- There is a Gatonian in the cage with us – and several mutated gurgling beings on the ground.
- The Hull of the Velvet Thunder Bird is being torn apart by Berkin, lead by the Baron
- The fish folks are slaves. Transformed by abolyth slime.
- We were able to crack open our our cell
