Claden’s Notes: Into the Pangodig City

Context: Every Thursday(ish) I play D&D online (we're actually using the SWADE system for this campaign) with some friend. The setting is entirely homebrew (both DM and players worked to create the world before playing). I play an iron being (not a robot) known as an Ironing. His name is Claden and he is a Varaq, responsible for obtaining variables, measurements, metrics, and statistics of all sorts which he will input into the "great machine," an all knowing device. These are notes from Claden's perspective while we play.
  • We sail away from the island in our new ship, the silver spear.
  • We’re at Pangodig City. The entrance is carved right out of the bed rock.
  • The Pangodigs, are a little hesitant to talk to us, perhaps a little racist.
  • The guards take forever to let us in.
  • The pillars appear to have Ironing script – and nullify magical effects
  • The only way the Matron would let our bright stone to be worked is if all of the 5 houses vouched for us
  • House Anvil Forged
  • House Gem Light
  • House Tunnel Echo
  • House Magma Pulse
  • House Stone Singer
  • We head towards the Stone Singers first. We head to a pub. Their leader says she will give us her approval if we write a song telling our story.
  • Perhaps a catchy chorus will help
  • They get the most out a folk vibe.
  • We play a pretty impressive song. There was one hiccup – but we were able recover – with a mighty rap
  • Next up we’re planning to go to the Magma Pulse
