Context: Every Thursday(ish) I play D&D online (we're actually using the SWADE system for this campaign) with some friend. The setting is entirely homebrew (both DM and players worked to create the world before playing). I play an iron being (not a robot) known as an Ironing. His name is Claden and he is a Varaq, responsible for obtaining variables, measurements, metrics, and statistics of all sorts which he will input into the "great machine," an all knowing device. These are notes from Claden's perspective while we play.
- Sailing towards Pangodig
- Food is quite good – week journey there – eating freshest stuff first
- The Gulf of Canva – typically free of pirates.
- It is considered bad luck to bring an Ironing aboard by sailors of the Gulf of Canva.
- After 2 days, we come upon a female gnome adrift at sea.
- She implores us to save her island – the Coral Depths
- The Red Reavers are reportedly prowling these waters
- We’re being escorted by Captain Marchand
- The baron here has been in power for 6 or 7 years
- They’re quite well stocked with arms – way more than just for protection
- A group of Berkin have taken up residence in the caverns under the island, and have reputations as pilferers.
- The sorcerer Karnac – has created potions for water breathing (and corrosion resistance) They last 1 day.
- We enter the cave – And there are several fresh dead bodies, bobbing in the water
- Ghost Crabs Emerged from the water.
